Iso parametric curves are incredibly useful. They’ve been available in NX for many years but now they update. You can use them to distribute curves along a surface in a rectangularize pattern. Once you have the curves, you can use them as the underlying construction geometry for almost anything. In the example below a surface is created and 2 sets of isoparametric curves are distributed on it. The surface is sewn into a solid and the curves are used to create solid ribs.
